About the Event
Organized by Toll Insight and hosted by the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA), the Toll Industry Innovation Forum will bring together tolling agencies, industry practitioners, consultants, and technology leaders for two days of interactive discussion focused on innovation and the future of tolling.
The Forum is being designed as a working session rather than a traditional conference, emphasizing candid peer exchange, real-world operational challenges, emerging technologies, and practical opportunities to improve tolling operations.
Proposed Discussion Areas Include:
-
Next-Generation Roadside Technology and V2X: Deployment opportunities, emerging approaches, and the future of tolling and intelligent transportation systems.
-
AI and Tolling Operations: Practical applications, revenue assurance, collections, and the challenges agencies are working to solve.
-
The Future of Tolling: Innovations, procurement considerations, and technologies that agencies should be evaluating today to prepare for the next five to ten years.
The agenda will feature a limited number of deeper discussions, with substantial time for agency perspectives, questions, and experience-sharing. We will continue refining the topics with participating agencies to ensure the discussions address their priorities.
Forum Participation
To ensure a balanced and candid exchange, this is an agency-first forum, targeting roughly one-third representation each from agencies, consultants/advisers, and technology providers. To maintain the interactive boardroom layout, the event is capped at a comfortable capacity of approximately 100 participants.
Outside of invited participants, attendance is managed through a simple "Request to Participate" process. Applicants will be asked to briefly identify their organization, role in the industry, relevant areas of expertise, proposed participant(s), and the specific topics or perspectives they would contribute to the Forum.
